Born & raised in France's west coast, Britanny (Bretagne), at 18, Valerie moved to Paris to study fashion with the internationally aclaimed ESMOD. Upon graduation, she joined an important Parisian Design Studio, designing trends and created collections for globally known brands. This precious experience sealed her forever love for sportwear.
2 years later, she decided to move to Casablanca, Morrocco, where she spent a year developping sportwear and activewear collections for the European market, working, on a daily basis, with factories, printers and embroiderers.
Back to Paris, she became Design Director for knitwear for one of the best known contemporary ready-to-wear fashion house in France, and quickly became in-charge of the women's design studio, with a wonderful 7-year tenure, before moving, with her husband, Yves, to New York, and later to Los Angeles, where she worked as a senior design consultant for various men & women contemporary RTW companies.
